The Big Ben

The name Big Ben is often used to describe the tower, the clock and the bell but the name was first given to the Great Bell.

The Elizabeth tower was completed in 1859 and the big clock started on 31 May.

London Eye

The London Eye costs about 85 million pounds. It is a giant ferris wheel on the south bank of the Themes River. It became the tallest ferris wheel when it was completed in 1999 with 135 meters tall and a diameter of 120 meters. It is also know a the Millennium Wheel.

Westminster Abbey

It is a big church that was built in 1245 and 1272. Over 3000 famous people have been buried there and also so many wedding have been held there. In fact, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was also held there.

National Museum of Ireland 

It is the national museum of Ireland. It has three branches in Dublin, and one in County Mayo, with a strong emphasis on Irish art, culture and natural history. Admission is free to all four museums.

Buckingham Palace

This is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth. It has 775 room, which include 19 state rooms, 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedroooms, 92 offices, and 78 bathrooms.

Dublin Castle 

It was built by King John of engalnd in 1230. The purpose of bulding it was for it act as a defense for current invaders, the Normans, And serve as a seat of the English government.
